A Quick Visit from Papa

Aaron's Uncle Robert passed away and the service was held on Saturday. Galin drove all night from Houston to attend and then left early the next morning to get back to the ship. It was way too fast of a visit. These are the only shots that we took that evening....I didn't even get to see him the next morning!

Hopefully he and Kathleen will be able to spend a little more time with us during this summer. We love their visits!

First Trip to the Zoo

Lately, we have a great playgroup getting together about once a month. For March, we decided to head to the Jacksonville Zoo. It was a really wonderful afternoon that everyone had but the entire afternoon I felt guilty about the babies having to stay in their choo choo the entire time. There are so many wonderful perks about having triplets....the incredible bond between the three of them, all the love that they give me every single day, the mere challenge of doing three at a time.

But then there are the frustrations like my fear of taking them out of the stupid wagon so that they could actually see the animals - I was scared of the backlash that would happen when all three wanted out at the same time. I didn't even take any pictures during the time inside because all it would be of was the babies trying to peek through the gated slats! Will I ever be able to manage all three like a normal mom does?

Wylie's First Haircut

Finally! After Wylie's hair began to fall past his shoulders, we decided to take him down to the barber shop and get his first haircut. It was absolutely hilarious! He sat on Aaron's lap like a statue, staring straightforward the entire time. I couldn't believe it! What a sweet memory :)

Our First Kitchen

At the consignment sale this week, I picked up the deal of the sale!!! The babies have LOVED this thing since I brought it inside. Even though it looks like a throw back from the eighties, for $10, I'll take it!!!

And to address the "car pajamas" on everyone....these are Katie's favorite pajamas. She goes wild whenever Wylie would wear them; literally climbing her way out of the bathtub to grab them! We now just let all three sleep in them...I think it is pretty cute! IF ANYONE SEES THESE IN THE STORES IN SIZES 18M OR LARGER --- PICK THEM UP!!! I WILL BUY ANY THAT YOU FIND :)

No More Highchairs!

I am SOOOO sick of cleaning those highchairs that I decided it was time to move them out. I ordered the restaurant style for everyone and it is much much easier! I think the babies enjoy it more also. Can you believe how fast they are growing!!!

Nena and Pepaw's House

With a call from Nena saying how much she was missing the babies, I decided to drive on up and visit with them. They are such wonderful grandparents and even my short 3 hour visits mean so much to them. I love afternoons like these....
