A Party for Susan and Michael

Susan and Michael are tying the knot! We decided to host a Lowcountry Boil for them at Shipley's house. It was a fantastic weekend full of belly laughs with my bestest girlfriends in the world! It turned out to be a pretty good party :)

All of the girls threw Susan and Michael an engagement party at Shipley's house. It was a wonderful evening. There is nothing better than a weekend with everyone together!!!!!

Time Out.

How Funny is This! Katie is usually the one put in "Time Out" for biting. She knows that corner all too well! I guess she thought Teddy wasn't being too sweet either....

It is so hard not to laugh when she does things like this. Last night, Aaron was giving her THE talk when she softly put her head down on the pillow for a moment. He didn't lose ground and just kept looking at her in the eye. When suddenly she popped up, smiled, threw her arms towards him and screamed DA DA DADDADDADA! He lost it! She is gonna be something :)

Who is Missing?

Where is Katie Bug during breakfast this morning? At Grandmama's! Mom decided to try letting Katie spend the night with her last night. Supposedly they had a really great time - picked green beans from her garden, walked the baby goose down to the pond, fed turtles (and Katie) bread, snuggled in the big bed all night long!

It was really strange having only two though - What a breeze!!!

Minnie and Big Papa took off back to Houston this mornning with a stop in Atlanta to visit Matthew, Dawn and Scarlett. While they stayed a week, it seemed to go by really fast. Hopefully, Kathleen and Aunt Elizabeth will be able to make it back down sometime next month. Elizabeth hasn't even gotten to see the babies in person yet - although she is the most faithful with this blog (I receive emails frequently! requesting "MORE PICTURES PLEASE!").






Thanks for coming down Minnie and Big Papa. We all had a really nice time visiting with you guys!

We headed over to Darien to have some seafood at Skipper's. Galin loves to have seafood when they are visiting. Aaron and I found this restaurant a few months ago when we went to the Blessing of the Fleet. That first evening we had the entire back room to ourselves...this time, not so much. Katie was a handful at the table and wanted desperately to get down and roam a bit. Only one spilled drink though! The dinner, however, was a hit with Big Papa! Here is Daddy giving Katie Bug "THE LOOK!"

We tried to get some pictures after dinner but it is SOOO hot this week (90-94 degrees daily). This was a good as it got m- which I think isn't so bad!
