18 Months and Walking

Finally! Katie is up on all two and taking steps on her own! Won't be long before she can run with the best of them! In fact, Aaron had a dream last night that she was in a race with Wylie and guess who won! You got it - Katie Bug!!!

A Visit from the Cousins!

On their way back to Valdosta, Beth, Sally and Pierce stopped by for some playtime. WOW things got busy! All the cousins loved it though :)

Nena and Pepaw!!!

Knock Knock....Someone is at the door. SURPRISE!!!! It was Nena and Pepaw!!!

Aaron and I took the babies to the Blessing of the Fleet earlier in the day. When we got back home and started baths, the doorbell rang. Nena and Pepaw hardly ever make it down to Brunswick...I was so surprised to see them. Even though they couldn't stay long, we had a wonderful visit. I will be so sad when they head back North for the summer next month. I love my grandparents!!!

Beach Weather

What a gorgeous morning we had at the beach! Sarah Bledsoe invited us to tag along with her Bible Study group and we had a wonderful time. They met at a quiet little nook on the street side of some boulders. The water was on the other side so the little ones couldn't get to it. It was the perfect setup. I think I know where I will be going this summer!

I found this awesome pool on craigslist last week and couldn't wait to try it out...of course Maggie "the waterbug" went right in. The other two could take it or leave it. Aaron and I had a great Sunday just relaxing at home and playing with the babies. I love beautiful weekends!

Maggie's First Trip to Sea Island

Thanks to a daypass from Shannon, we got to spend a fantastic afternoon at the new Beachclub on Sea Island!!!! WOW!!!!! It was so nice and relaxing....Maggie had a wonderful time playing in all the pools. She never fussed once and just wanted to be in the water....what a waterbug!

The Hunt!!!

For those of you who don't know, Mom puts together a huge easter egg hunt for everyone out at her farm. All year, rather than crack eggs that we use (and believe me...since the babies were born, we have had tons of eggs!) we blow them out leaving just the shell. Then, at Easter, everyone comes home for the hunt. Mom stuffs each egg with money and hides around the 10 acres at her house. All children hunt plus one adult from each family. This year was all the girls. It is hilarious to watch everyone scramble for the eggs...there has been more than one tumble as we go for the same one!

This was Beth's big year.....She found the Gold ($100) AND Silver ($50). Aaron is going to have to go ahead and start training for next year in hopes that he does better than I did!!!!
