For the longest time, I assumed her hair would grow out so that very soon I could put them in pigtails. But...it just never did on top! It just kept growing long in the back and standing straight up on top. She looked like a rooster!

I decided to let Angie who does my hair try and fix it. I have to admit...she looks pretty darn cute now!

It was a fun day for us. After nap, Mom watched the other two while we went downtown. Angie agreed to fit us in but we had to come back in 45 minutes. Bugs and I decided to walk down and surprise Daddy at his office.

Then, we walked back and got started...Katie did great! No tears, no fear! She sat on my lap and let Angie snip snip snip. I did, however, have a pocket full of soft peppermints as a little bribe.

Afterwards, it was time for ice cream!

Where is the time going? I look at these babies now and see toddlers. I can't believe how fast it is flying by. Everyone warns you but you really have no idea until you have children. This is such a special time of our lives....I really do love it.
