The 4th was a lot of fun this year. The day was beautiful...Aaron did a fantastic job on the grill and the babies had a ball hanging out with Minnie and BigPapa, my brother Kevin came over and Dante and Chris. We had hoped to take the babies down to the waterfront to catch the fireworks but they just started too late. We all kind of felt they would be miserable so Galin and Kathleen stayed behind and we all walked down to watch. We didn't make it to the waterfront before they started but found a great view not far from where the crowds were. Ashby and Will came along and we had our own little spot. The night kind of turned late but I think Aaron and I were already on vacation time...we were leaving in the morning for five days to ourselves! Oh boy....

The firework display was really wonderful despite the economy...I think we were all impressed by the city this year!

yeah, the 4th of July/fireworks/children doesn't mix very well. They are always so excited to see fireworks but the bigger deal show start so stinkin' late!!
